EVENING DEDICATED TO HIGH-QUALITY EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL OF THIS HARVEST. LET’S DISCOVER TOGETHER THE “NEW” OIL, STRONG AND DECISIVE, JUST AS IT COMES OUT OF THE MILL AND OBTAINED FROM THE VARIOUS OLIVE VARIETIES TYPICAL OF THE MANY ITALIAN PRODUCTION AREAS.

Let’s discover together the new oil! Confagricoltura organizes, in its headquarters at Palazzo della Valle, on Wednesday, November 20, at 6:00 pm, a special evening dedicated to high-quality extra virgin oils of this harvest. Among the participants, also Terre di Grifonetto.

The olive sector, for its dynamism, tradition, and economic importance, has always been one of the most important in our agriculture and one of the most relevant in terms of companies and areas involved. The richness of Italian olive growing is also demonstrated by the numerous varieties present in the territory and the important international awards obtained by our oils.

To enhance the new oil, with its strong and decisive flavor and intense aromas, just as it comes out of the mill, nothing better than soups, which will be interpreted by three emerging chefs for the occasion, “young promises” like the new oils, who will bring to Rome the typicality and tradition of their territories:

  • Alessandro Dal Degan – La Tana, Asiago;
  • Marco Martini – Stazione di Posta, Rome;
  • Vito Giannuzzi – Masseria Torre Maizza, Savelletri di Fasano – BR.

  • Mario Guidi – President of Confagricoltura;
  • Donato Rossi – President of the National Olive Growing Federation of Confagricoltura.The evening will be moderated by the food and wine journalist Luigi Cremona.
